Individual found in the "Registration of Death Butler County" Book-3, page 72 at the Butler County Courthouse. Age: 61; Parent's Names: not listed; Place of Birth: Middle Lancaster Twp, PA; Date of Death: 15 Feb 1905; Place of Death: Middle Lancaster Twp, PA; Cause of Death: Heart trouble; Buried: Lancaster, Date of Burial: 18 Feb 1905; Date Death Recorded: 15 May 1905.
Individual found in correspondence dated 8 Nov 2002 received from the Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, PA 16037 as joining the church along with his wife, Emily, sons Joseph W., and Emmanuel on April 8, 1882.
Individual obituary found in the Butler Citizen dated Thursday, March 2, 1905:
"John Lutz of Middle Lancaster was found dead of apoplexy by his returning from a neighbors house Thursday morning 16th. He was buried in the Lutheran cemetery there on Sunday afternoon. He had lived all his life in or near Middle Lancaster. Age 61 years."
