Lewis and his nephew J. Lewis Hoopengardner (b. 1868) both died on the same day? This is probably inaccurate because of the similarity in the spelling of each of their names.
In addition I have some concern with these two individuals as both of them have wives with similarities in their names and the year in which both of them died (1900). Could there be some mix-up here and in-fact these are one and the same individuals?3
