In February 1956 Patricia’s father Robert and his family shared a two-dwelling home with Andrew McGaughey, his wife Helen, widowed daughter Barbara and 14 month old granddaughter Maxine. Located in Dimeling,* Clearfield, PA, the home tragically, and without warning, caught fire killing Patricia who was just eight days shy of her second birthday.59
It’s probable that the McGaugheys and the Hulls, mentioned above, were related, but I’m not sure how. In addition Barbara’s father Andrew was killed in an auto accident in a car driven by a Jack Wise. I believe I once heard that Barbara McGaughey and Joyce and sister Joanne Hull were cousins, but I am unable to find any connection between the families.3
