Olive Irene Erhard, 88, of Clearfield, died on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Clearfield Hospital.

She was born June 5, 1918, in Emporium, a daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Rowles) DeHaven.

Mrs. Erhard was employed in the cash office at Leitzingers Bros., Clearfield, for a number of years.

She was Lutheran by faith and a member of the New Millport Women's Club and the Clearfield Chapter No. 379 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol E. Crago and her husband, John, of Clearfield and Cathy Hoffman and her husband, Paul, of Hollis, N.H.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Edwards and her husband, Russell, of Belleville, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brenton C. Erhard, on Dec. 16, 1997 and whom she wed July 21, 1939; and a sister, Jean Lezzer.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

There will be no public visitation.

Interment will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, is in charge of the arrangements.

Brenton C. Erhard Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield for Brenton C. "Baldy" Erhard, 83, of Clearfield RD, Coal Hill Road, who died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. The Rev. Robert Croft will officiate. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home...... The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the New Millport Lutheran Church, in care of Bonny Kinnunen, 406 Pine St., Curwensville, Pa. 16833; or to the Hyde Wesleyan Church, PO Box 264, Hyde, Pa. 16843.

Born Oct. 31, 1914, in Buffalo Mills, he was a son of Brenton Wallace and Fannie (Cook) Erhard. Mr. Erhard retired as a foreman for Harbison Walker Refractories after 36 years of service.

He was a member of the Lutheran Denomination and was formerly a member of the Curwensville Lodge No. 480 of Free and Accepted Masons.

On July 21,1939, he wed Olive I. (DeHaven) Erhard, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Carol. Crago of Clearfield and Cathy Hoffman of Hollis, N.H.; five grandchildren, Deborah Britt, Victoria Lose, Rick Crago,; Rachel Hoffman and Derek Hoffman; and four great-grandchildren.

He was the last member of his immediate family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Elsie Nevling; and two brothers, Daniel Dwight and Clarence Dean.
