ANSONVILLE - Mrs. Bessie (Mays) Stevens, wife of the late Charles A. Stevens of Ansonville, died at 7 p. m. (DST) yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gerald Buzzard of St. Marys.
Friends may call at Mrs. Stevens late home in Ansonville after 7 p. m. (DST) tomorow.

ANSONVILLE — Bessie Ruth (Mays) Stevens, 69, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gerald Buzzard of St. Marys, at 7 p. m. (DST) Friday.
Born in Ansonville June 7, 1888, she was a daughter of the late Ezra and Anna (Barrett) Mays. Mrs. Stevens was a member of the Baptist Church of Ansonville.
She is survived by the following children: Herman Keith Stevens, Cleveland, Ohio; Gordon and Helen, both at home; Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Buzzard, St. Marys; and Mrs. Hiram (Lillybelle) Cronauer, Baltimore, Md. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be from Mrs. Stevens late home in Ansonville al 2 p. m. (DST) tomorrow with Rev. Glenn Moore officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Cemetery.
Friends will be received al the Stevens home today and until time of the services tomorrow.
