Leona V. Keith of 1223 5th Ave., Duncansville, died unexpectedly at 11 a.m. yesterday, May 11, 1972, at her home. She was born June 23, 1890, in Irvona, a daughter of Alfred and Effie (Mays) Erhard, and was twice married, to Andrew Mehaffie, who died in December 1926, and then to Albert J. Keith who died in October 1965.

Surviving are five children, Paul E. Mehaffie of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Betty Blattenberger of Blacklick, Robert W. Keith of Seward, Mrs. Mary Johnsonbaugh of Duncansville and Miss Lora Mehaffie of San Jose, Calif., three step children, Wilson Keith of Pensacola, Fla., Robert Weidel of Blue Knob and Leon Elder of East Lake, Ohio: 44 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a brother and sister, Mrs. Vada Schoening of Altoona and Morrell of Norfolk, Va.

Mrs. Keith was a member of the Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, and Unity Bible Class, Duncansville Golden Age Club and the WCTU.

Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
