Junie McBride, 77, of Clearfield died at the Clearfield Hospital, Jan 16. Born June 30, 1906, she was the daughter of Milton and Rose (Joy) Mays.
She worked for the textile mill and for McGregor Sportswear and their predecessors for 36 years. She was affiliated with the Protestant faith. She was judge of election at Kerr Addition for 25 years and job steward for the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.
On March 27, 1924 she married Francis J. McBride who survives with five children: Mrs. Arnold (Mildred) McCracken; Donald Ardary; Braden McBride; Patrick McBride;; Mrs. Richard (Mona) Lenhart; 14 grandchildren 15 great granchildren and these brothers and sisters. Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Rummings; Charles Mays; Roy Mays and Mrs. Joseph (Melva) Odrosky.
Services will be held at 11 am Bennett and Houser funeral Home with Arthur Lenhard minister, officiating, interment in Bradford Cemetery.
