CLEARFIED PROGRESS SEPT 13, 1976?Mrs. Eva Gearhart CURWENSVILLE — Mrs. Eva C. Gearhart, 77. of 19251 Red Gate Road, Portsmouth,! Va.. a native of Curwensville, died Friday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m in Portsmouth General Hospital. ^ She was a member of the Cradock United Methodist Church and Victory Lodge 116, Order of the Eastern! Star, Lake Drummond. She was born in Curwensville Oct. 31, 1898, daughter of Charles H. an Clara J. (Mays) Brown. Her husband, Howard Earl Gcarhart Sr., survives along with a son, Howard Earl Jr. of Snow Hill, Md. There are also two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons: Roy Edwin and William Ray, who was killed in action in Germany in World War II. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Bennett Funeral Home Inc The Rev. Carl E. Hill will; officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
