William lived for some time on the farm now [1897] owned by Milton McClure. Desiring a larger farm, he sold this and bought the next farm, then called the Capt. Ross farm, and now [1897] owned by J. Newton Porter. Here he lived many years. A few years before his death, he sold his land in Pike township, and bought a farm in Bloom township, where he resided until his death.2347

It is my information that my great grandmother Martha Miller had been Amish and since she married outside the community she was shunned. I have nothing on her.3681

Martha was William Lynn Bloom's second wife. She was previously married to Mr. Kirk and had a child Sabina in 1851. The 1860 census list her as Kirk, but the 1870 [census] as Bloom. Martha married William October 22, 1855.6401
