Clearfield County Boy Dies at Camden

Thomas J. Bloom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Bloom, of Olanta, died at his home in Camden, N.J., on Easter Sunday, March 31st 1918, as the result of an attack of diptheria, after an illness of two weeks duration.

The deceased is survived by his wife, who was Miss Ellen Flood, of Odessa, and his sorrowing parents. He had resided in Camden for about two years and at the time of his death occupied a position as foreman at the government shipbuilding plant at Hog Island.

He was a sober, industrious, good citizen and his host of Clearfield friends sincerely regret his demise.

Interment was made in Camden cemetery on the Tuesday following his death.
