Hugh La Vella Bloom, youngest son of Hugh C. Bloom, resides with his parents at Dubois, Pa., where he attended the Central School and two years in High School, when he entered the Business College in Boston, Mass., from which he graduated. He secured a position as book-keeper with the Libby-Owens-Ford Glass Company in Toledo, Ohio, later being promoted to Assistant General Manager, which position he yet holds. He is not married. He wanted to enlist inn the World War but his parents objected on account of his age, which was seventeen years. He was recently [1931] been promoted to the Sales Department of the Libby-Ownes-Ford Glass Company.4829
