Born on Sea. Then resided in Luthersburg,then Curwensville, Clearfield Co. Pa. U.S.A.He was the first assessor of the small town of Curwensville which had about 372 people. By the 1850 census he was a turnpike manager. He married Mary Henry about 12 Sept.1812. May have lived in Porter Twp. Huntingdon Co.Pa. where his first two sons were born in McConnellsville, Pa.
