Daniels wife is unknown, however we know that he was married about 1785, based upon the ages of his children as shown in the census of 1800. There are no records of Daniel after the census of 1800 census of Otego, New York, so it seems reasonable to assume that he was likely deceased by 1810 when the next census was taken. Daniel and his unknown wife were the parents of six children, four sons and two daughters whose names are not known.6516

Of the children of Daniel Ogden, several returned to the State of New York, and we have no trace of them. Daniel Junior, removed to the Allegheny River with his family, and his relatives have had no tidings of him since.1375
