Judge Vinston B. Holt
The tract of land [farm] on which Vintson and his father were born was in the possession of the Holt family as early as 1754.
In the early part of his career, Mr. Holt was a contractor and builder; but, preferring the more congenial calling of Agricola, he commenced to farm in Bradford township, about seven miles from the county seat.
In the fall of 1876 he was elected associate judge of this county, and is now [1878] residing in Clearfield, attending to the trusts imposed upon him as an important judicial official.
