Miss Harriet Passmore
Miss Harriet (Hal) Passmore, 93, a lifelong resident of Ferguson Township, but for the past five years making her home at Warren, Pa., died there Sunday morning following a long illness.
Miss Passmore was born July 25, 1867 in Ferguson Twp, a daughter of Hiram and Lydia (Shafer) Passmore.
For 75 years Miss Passmore was an active member of the Baptist Church at Marron where she was baptized Feb. 19, 1887, by Rev. Owen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 3 sisters and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She leaves a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the McCracken Funeral Home at Mahaffey Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Rev. James Clinton will officiate and burial will be in Watts Cemetery.
