HARRY S. BLOOM
CURWENSVILLE - Funeral services for Harry Shaffer Bloom, 63, formerly of Curwensville but who for the past 10 years made his home at Adena, Ohio, will be held from the Lininger Funeral Home tomorrow at 2 p.m.. Mr Bloom died Sunday, March 31, in the Clearfield Hospital at 11:55 a.m.
Rev. Ira R Duvall will officiate at the services and burial will be made in Bloomington Cemetery.
Mr. Bloom, a district lineman for the Nickel Plate Railroad by occupation, was born in Lawrence Township June 15, 1893, son of the late Harbit and Margaret (Mays) Bloom. He was a social member of the American Legion of Adena.
He is survived by his wife Eva Barkhurst Bloom, and the following brothers: D.C. Bloom, Salem, Oregon; P.I. Bloom of Curwensville; and Leroy Bloom, Curwensvill R.D. #1.
His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today and until the time of services Wednesday.
