Gertrude is 34 born in July 1865 and the mother of three children with two yet living. The children are Floyd 14, born July 1885 and Grace 12, born December 1887.
In 1910 they live in Karthaus where he is a hotel keeper at age 56. Both children are still at home. In 1920 they are in Burnside Township, Centre County and he is farming for a living. Grace is gone and Floyd is the only child at home.
