Obituary

Clearfield Progress March 9, 1934

Mrs. Elvira Curry Bloom was born January 15, 1847 and died March 6, 1934 aged 87 years, 1 month and 19 days. Her husband preceeded her to the beyond July 27, 1927.

Six children survive Mrs. Bloom; Mrs. George Erhard of New Millport, Mrs. Almeda Bauman of Olanta; Steward Straw* of Berwindale, Loshua F. Bloom of Berwindale, Darius R. Bloom of Ansonville and CC Bloom of Punxsutawney. One son Gurney Grier Bloom was killed in the mines in the year 1899.

The Funeral services for the late Mrs. Bloom will be officiated by her pastor, Rev. John E. Hill in Salem Lutheran church at New Millport about 2:30 PM Saturday, March 10th.

Interment in the New Millport Cemetery.
