(Lillian is descended through this Richard Lounsberry's son, Michael).

In the "History of Stamford" (Connecticut) by Huntington supposes that Richard was in Stamford in 1684, because he and Elizabeth Pennoyer, his wife, and son, Henry, are recorded there that year. The record of Henry's birth in Stamford does not prove that he was born there, however, because in those days vital entries relating to residents were often made in town records even when they did not occur in the town where recorded, and as Henry settled in Stamford, he could have had the record of his birth entered there, though it actually took place in Rye, NY.

Misc. Notes
The original source recorded the place of the marriage of Richard and Elizabeth as Mamaronexck, CT. However there vis no such town in CT and it only appears in NY. So the compiler of this data base has made that change to the record.3
