I wonder if your John Mason is related to my Esther Ann Mason, born 1 May 1833 in Clearfield County and died 4 Jul 1860. She was the wife of my 2nd great grandfather Edward Byron Patton?

I have no information regarding her parents and would appreciate anything you might be able to share.

Well there was a reason that my JOhn Mason went to Wineburne twp Clearfield co?, but he didnt go there until after the 1880 census. Was your Esther Mason near Winburne twp?
where was she 1850 census?
where was she b -? USA?

I do not know where Esther Ann Mason was born specifically ... only that my data indicates Clearfield County, PA. Nor do I know whether she was ever near Winburne Township. Until your mention of it I had never heard of that Township and have no other known ancestors from there, not that it couldn't be possible.

I have not checked the 1850 Census but hope to do exactly that in the next couple of weeks.
