Subject: Hi!

Hoping you can help. My maiden name is Middleton. Charles W. and Ural S. Elder Bloom Middleton are my great grandparents. I see your interested in the Blooms. I have pages of genealogy that someone in my family traced all the way back to John Adams and John Quincy Adams. I'm not entirely certain its relavent tho. I was wondering if you knew what Urals story was. Not sure where the "Elder" comes in. I think she was raised by George Washington Bloom and Elizabeth Waldo Taylor Bloom. Also. I am in recent contact with a cousin born in Curwensville. She tells me that one of the grandmothers was half indian. I have not been able to verify that or even determine which grandmother precisely that she was talking about. She tells me that each of the generations there have been taught to count to 10 in the native indian tongue and many of us do appear to have a darker complexion. Also she tells me that she was told it was Blackfoot Indian. She has spent time researching the blackfoot tribe and hasn't found any indication that they were in Pennsylvania. PS. Just yesterday I found an answer that I have been seeking for over 10 years now. My great grandfather is John L. Middleton, but I was never able to determine who his parents were. Yesterday, I found his death certificate on
ancestry.com. It lists his parents as James Middleton and Jane Bequeth. Not sure if were ever able to find that out for your research or not. I see a lot of trees out there, but they all seem to stop at John L. Middleton.
