[More on Nancy Alice Bloom, written by her granddaughter Ruth Kline (b. 1932)]

Unfortunately I have no memories of any direct relationship with her. I regret that, as I've come to believe that I resemble her, not so much in appearance, but in personality (for lack of a better word). For reasons unknown to me (and never discussed in the family) my mother did not like Alice. Therefore she was not included in family discussions.... She had a daughter (Eva) out-of-wedlock before she married Alonzo Kline. This of course was scandalous in my Puritan mother's eyes, and that probably contributed to the strained relationship between her and Alice?? (Who knows?)2209
