Eva was raised by Alonzo Kline and her birth mother Nancy Jane Bloom Kline as part of their family. However, I do not know what name [Eva] used. Could have been Kline, but no records of a formal adoption exist to my knowledge, or maybe she went by Eva Bloom? I do not believe she used Bauman. This was something my family never discussed.4142

A first cousin in Pennsylvania says his late mother (who would have been Alice’s daughter and half sister of Eva) called her “Eva Bloom”. However, my neice recalls her mother (my late sister) using “Eva Bauman”. I personally don’t remember -- my memories are only of “Aunt Eva”.4143
