Clarence died from injuries when his car skidded on ice and plunged into the creek on South Filbert Street in Curwensville. He was a section foreman for the New York Central Railroad in Lumber City, Pennsylvania, where he resided. He was a native of Clearfield County and was born in Ferguson Township. He was a member of the Curwensville Lodge 268, Loyal Order of Moose. One child resulted from this marriage.
