Hugh (1759-1829) and Jane (Boyd) Caldwell came to Clearfield County in 1805, settling in Pike Township, near Center Church, on land [that in 1911] was owned by William Lawhead.717
Note: Lawhead’s wife Hannah is the great-granddaughter of Hugh and Jane Caldwell.3

Another Lawhead family appears on the same page of the 1910 census as William’s family. A Charles W. Lawhead (b. abt 1873) and his wife Avio?, with son Theodora and daughters Ruth, Ester, Anabel and Jaabel.1099 [Could this Charles be a son of William’s?]

In the 1910 census it shows that the household also included a Mary Passmore, age 18, single and listed as a servant, private family cook.1099
Note: There is one Mary Passmore in this database that could be this individual, although my data indicates she was born in 1895 making her only 15 years old at the most. She is a second cousin, one generation removed of Hannah’s.3
