William, born March 4, 1708-09, took a certificate from Newark Meeting in New Castle county, to Goshen, Chester county, July 31, 1731, and settled in that locality.

He was twice married and had nineteen children, ten by the first wife and nine by the second. His second wife was Sibylla (Davis) Williams, widow of Edward Williams, who died in Pikeland, Chester county, 1748.
