John Hunter, native of Durham, England, and a descendant of the Hunters of Meadowsly Hall, Gateshead, Durham, who removed to Ireland; married at Rathdrum, county Wicklow, in 1693, Margaret Albin, and later came to Chester county, where he died in 1734, aged seventy years.
