My grandmother, Margaret Rothrock Tiedgen, was one of the daughters of Curtin and Sarah Smeal Rothrock. Lester Ellinger was married to the eldest daughter, Maude Rothrock. As a child I visited my great aunt Maude and uncle Les many times. My grandmother and aunt Maude were very good friends…. Growing up my family visited Clearfield regularly, and I knew all of my grandmother's sisters personally as well as one of her brothers. I remember great Uncle Les quite well as he and Maude were very close to my grandmother and spent lots of time with her. Unfortunately, I never knew Marley [Ellinger]. It is a shame that I didn't get your request at this time last year. I suspect that my mother would have known Marley, but my mom passed away in March, and she was the last of her Tiedgen siblings.
 
Aunt Maude had a daughter, Elmira, who died many years ago. But I am still in touch with my great aunt Maude's grandchildren, Virginia and Duane (as they live in Erie PA which is where many of my 1st cousins and their families live).1403
