Obituary

BETHANY, Mo. — Lynn Poush, 85, Bethany, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at his home.

He was born October 9, 1925 in Eagleville, Mo., the son of O.C. and Della Marie (Williams) Poush.

On September 7, 1952, he married Juanita Young in Eagleville, Mo. She survives at the home.

He retired March, 1989 as a mechanic from the Missouri Department of Transportation. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Bethany, Mo. He was also a member of the Bethany Masonic Lodge No. 97 A.F. & A.M. for 63 years, the Order of Eastern Star No. 23, and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

Survivors in addition to his wife are a son, Rick (Martha) Poush, Unionville, Mo.; daughter, Connie (Dennis) Bishop, Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Robert (Kendra) Bishop, DJ (Jessica) Bishop, Ciera Poush Lutz, and Haley Provance; great-grandchildren, Elexa and Myles Lutz.

He was preceded in death by parents; half brother, Earl Poush; and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo., with burial in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where friends may call after noon Tuesday.
