Michael Dotterer, of Falkner Swamp, son of George Philip Dodderer, on the 24th of January, 1726, bought of Hans Neues, of the Northern Liberties, one hundred and fifty acres on the east bank of Society Run, and facing the German tract, and on the 8th of November, 1734, the proprietaries granted him, by patent, fifty acres adjoining the foregoing.
Michael with his father and brother Conrad was naturalized by act of Assembly passed May 18, 1739. [Source spells Philip’s surname differently than his son Michael’s]
A Michael Dotterer, 100 acres, is listed in the first official list of taxables of Frederick township [Montgomery County, PA] in 1734 and 1785.

Michael was a brother of Bernard Dodder, second husband of Christina Dewees Antes. Michael’s sister Barbara married Jacob Markley. Their parents were Geo Philip Dodderer & wife Veronica.
