My aunt and uncle who are still living remember Maimie well as she lived such a long life, but could not remember that she had any siblings. Maimie is described as a "character", very opinionated and strong willed. My parents, now both deceased, spoke of her as a cut throat bridge player. Her husband Marcus Eugene Caswell died young and Maimie was left a widow with a small son. She never remarried and doted on her son Carlton Alphonse Caswell, my father's grandfather, who was known to all including his children as Carlie. 1494
