Johann Michael Motz, born August 4, 1745, died August 27, 1830, had a daughter Margaret Motz, born September 18, 1758, married Konrad Weiss, born March 19, 1780, died December 9, 1839. Their children: Michael Weiss, born September 29, 1807; David Weiss, born September 26, 1809: Wilhelm Weiss, born August 10, 1811; Joseph Weiss, born August 4, 1813; Maria Weiss, born September 6, 1815, died September 3, 1818; Moses Weiss, born October 17, 1817; Abigail Weiss, born July 31, 1820; Nathaniel Weiss, born October 11, 1832, died 1826; Jonothan Weiss, born May 3, 1825, died 1826.
The above is as the record stands up to the time of his death. These children who grew to manhood and womanhood mostly married and resided in Clearfield County, Pa., until their death. They were numbered among Clearfield County's most honored citizens.
NOTES: The date in the book for Margaret Motz birth date of September 18, 1758, must be a typo, as her husband Konrad Weiss was born March 19, 1780. Nathaniel Weiss birth year is listed as 1832, yet his death year is listed as 1826.2171
