Harrison Bloom, who was next to the youngest son of William Bloom, after being in the mercantile business here, for some time, concluded to study medicine. Accordingly he prepared himself for the practice of this profession, and located in the city of Philadelphia. Here, Dr. Bloom became a noted physician. He never married and has been dead several years.1829
