Amelia Antes was the daughter of Henry Antes, Jr., son of Colonel John Henry Antes, a patriot of the Revolution, and Ann Elizabeth Shoemaker, daughter of Henry Shoemaker of Muncy. Her grandmother, the wife of Col. Antes, was Mary Paul the daughter of Jonathan Paul, of Philadelphia.1091
