The name was changed somewhat over the years. Locally, the name evolved to Swatsworth from the Dutch "Swarthout".  It was Swartwood and Swartsworth along the way.  I'm sure the Dutch pronunciation was not easy to spell in English.1222

Richard L. Gleason, with his mother and uncle John, attended Blake’s 100th birthday party, in November of 1987, while Gleason was visiting in Pennsylvania and has video of that event.7

According to this source there was “an article” about Blake’s 102nd birthday party and included a five generation photo, but “the photo in the paper is horrible”.1224
