Ham was scared from burns on his body. As a young boy Larry aske him how he got vthe scars and as he recall;s he was told he was burned by mustard gas during World War One.

Cornelia was three months away from celebrationg her 100th birthday when she died. She was named after her mother's sister Cornelia Ellen Patton Murr.3

No birth certificates were issued at the time Cornelia and her siblings were born. The doctor or midwife made a record and then sent it to the court house. However the Clearfield Court House burned down and destroyed many of the records when Cornelia was quite young. She had "a heck of a time" proving she was born in order to get her social security. There was a record of births written by her father Eli Monroe Lines in her possession.75

Cornelia was a heavy smoker her entire life. She smoked Pall Mall cigarettes for many years and prior to that rolled her own using Prince Albert Tobacco. Despite that she lived to be nearly 100 years old.498

She was known as Aunt “Corny” by myself as that’s what all my aunt’s and uncles called her. She was afterall their aunt. Cornelia never had any children.7

Cornelia, like several others in the family suffered from Macular Degeneration which usually affects older adults that results in a loss of vision in the center of the visual field. It is a major cause of visual impairment in older adults. Macular degeneration can make it difficult or impossible to read or recognize faces, although enough peripheral vision remains to allow other activities of daily life.108
