Will probate March 20, 1848 - his will lists his housekeeper, Lueza Smith, half-brother Samuel Bloom, his son, William Bloom and the children of his deceased son, Peter.
Joseph Mettler is listed as his executor but a codicil stated that if Mettler was deceased his executor should be Jonathan Robbins, who in fact did serve as executor per descendent, Leila Balis.
Served in Revolutionary War and made shows, cartridges boxes & bests for Army in Alexandria per descendent, Leila Balis and List of members of Alexandria Militia p. 200
He applied for a Revolutionary war pension but was rejected per the Revolutionary Census of New Jersey by Stryker.504
