[Prior to the discovery of this newspaper mention I had Melvin’s year of birth as 1919. I have confirmed that April 26, 1920 was in-fact a Monday per the citation.]3

Melvin’s headstone photo indicates his birth date as Apr. 24, 1919. This is apparently incorrect and per the citation above was in-fact Saturday April 24, 1920. That date did in-fact fall on a Saturday in that year.3
The headstone that marks Melvin’s grave as well as the one that marks his brother Monroe’s grave was purchased in about the 1970s by their sister Lillian (Lines) Henderson. Her records must have been incorrect regarding Melvin’s actual birth year.312
