As a little boy he was called "Dickie" by his family. Richard was legally adopted in September of 1956 following the death of his father in August 1955. His adoptive parents were his father’s older sister, Maxine Jane (Lines) Gleason, and her husband James Emmett Gleason.
His record appears in this database as the son of his adopted parents. In addition he is listed as the son of his biological parents Richard Delmont Lines and Joann Hull.3,4

Mercedes was married twice before she married me. In Venezuela she was married to a Fernando until a divorce. After moving permanently to the states she married Michael Casey Hobrecht in Virginia where they lived. They met when he hired her to be a nanny to care for his young daughter. He would use a gun to commit suicide in May of 2004, at the age of 48. I was told he was depressed after losing his lucrative tow truck business to an unscrupulous partner. He and Mercedes were separated at the time and I suspect problems in the marriage were also a contributing factor.3
